Refund Policy
Clear expectations. A direct route to help. Your consumer rights preserved.
Our store is not taking payments yet. This page explains the policy planned for purchases through Paddle when sales open. Provisional prices do not create a paid order or a preorder.
The standard policy
For purchases through Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record. Its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms apply to the transaction, alongside your mandatory consumer rights.
Ocular Foundry LLC does not offer an additional unconditional money-back guarantee. Paddle may consider discretionary refund requests made within 14 days of the transaction; making a request does not guarantee approval. Legal entitlements and any greater protection that applies to your purchase take precedence.
Request help or a refund
- For billing or a refund request on a Paddle purchase, visit Paddle buyer support or use the support link on your receipt.
- For a product problem, contact hello@ocularfoundry.com. Describe the issue and include your order reference if available so we can help identify the purchase.
- Provide the purchase email, product name, purchase date, and a brief explanation where relevant. Never send full card details, card security codes, or passwords.
Contacting us for help is not a condition of exercising a statutory withdrawal right or another remedy provided by law. You may go directly to Paddle for payment assistance.
Permanent, year & day licenses
The planned permanent, one-year, and one-day options are all one-time purchases. A time-limited license ends at the end of its stated duration without an automatic charge.
A one-day license is a paid short-term license, not a free trial. Completing its 24-hour period does not create a separate refund entitlement, and neither activation nor expiry removes any mandatory consumer right. The same Paddle policy and applicable law govern each duration.
Withdrawal & statutory remedies
Consumers in some jurisdictions, including the EU/EEA and the UK, may have a statutory withdrawal period for digital purchases. For digital content, an exception can apply after supply begins only when the legal requirements—including express consent and acknowledgment about loss of the right—have been met. This policy does not treat browsing, silence, or activation alone as that consent.
You may also have rights if software is faulty, materially misdescribed, or does not meet applicable legal requirements. These rights are not limited to a discretionary 14-day request window. If a one-day license fails during its useful period, explain that when requesting help or a refund.
Where available, you can exercise withdrawal through the Paddle customer portal using the link in your receipt. You can also contact Paddle buyer support. Paddle’s policy explains country-specific rights and request methods; the highest applicable mandatory protection is preserved.
What happens after approval
Paddle processes approved refunds, generally to the original payment method where possible. The time for funds to appear depends on Paddle and the payment provider; statutory deadlines continue to apply. If your request is delayed, contact Paddle with the transaction reference.
A refunded license is canceled and must no longer be used. Refunds do not transfer ownership of, or require deletion of, your own creative work. We do not require you to waive lawful dispute rights to receive support.
